Mission
The mission of the Southern California Cease Fire Committee is to eliminate ALL violence! This includes:
- Gang Violence
- Domestic Violence
- Racial Violence
- Workplace Violence
- Random Acts of Violence
- School Yard Bullies
We do this by providing resources and support for mediation of “Cease Fire Agreements”, building a network to sustain and maintain “Cease Fire Agreements, improving quality of life by investing in the development of at-risk/proven risk community members and neighborhoods, incubate and assist community organizations to promote civic engagement.
Purpose
The Southern California Cease Fire Committee was formed to continue the "Peace Protocol" set in place by Stanley Tookie Williams before his execution.
Weekly Meeting
Southern California Cease Fire Committee meets every Wednesday at Bethel AME, 7900 S. Western Ave., Los Angeles CA 90047 – 6:30PM
